Dr. Griswold's research interests are in theoretical biology, with a focus on evolutionary genetics and evolutionary theory. His work seeks to advance these areas and develop computational methods that address basic and applied questions in biology. In particular, Griswold's research program seeks to understand how the genealogical structure of a population shapes phenotypic variation within a population and a population's response to selection.
