Bio/Research

I am interested in the philosophy of time, history, memory, and backward reference. Most of my work involves Continental Philosophy, but I am interested in the broad range of the history of philosophy, as well as any philosophy of any tradition concerned with metaphysics and time. I have written largely on Husserl, Hegel, and Deleuze, but also on Origen, Marion, Derrida, Fichte, Ancient Egyptian Philosophy, and other texts. I also have interests in the philosophy of music, and in African philosophy. Currently, I am reading Adorno. Once I finish my project on Simultaneity and Delay, I plan to work on a project on Decisions and their temporal referents.
