Dr. Yen's teaching and research interests centre on critical history and theory of psychology, with a specific focus on locating psychological technoscience in its social, cultural and historical contexts.
Yen studied and worked in South Africa as a counselling psychologist before completing his PhD at the University of Toronto. He has co-edited the book "Theoretical Psychology: Global Transformations and Challenges", and is currently book review editor for the journal "Theory and Psychology".
