Bio/Research

An avid science communicator, Dr. Loring's research focuses on new and innovative ways that people around the world are building more resilient and regenerative food systems. He works with farmers, ranchers, and fishers in Canada, the US, and Europe, to understand the barriers and opportunities for transforming how we produce food while also decarbonizing and decolonizing our food systems.

Loring also has a portfolio of podcasts, short films, and other science-communication products and he is happy to discuss these sorts of topics.
