Dr. Karine Gagné is an anthropologist interested in the relationship between the environment, knowledge, and the everyday.
Her research themes include questions related to climate change, state production in border and frontier areas, Buddhism and everyday life, environmental ethics, and human-animal relationships. She examines these issues in North India, where she has been conducting research since 2005.
